AuthorCatt Dahman began her professional writing career in 2013 when Severed Press acquired her nine-book series. Since then, she has written more than 100 books across true crime, horror, science fiction, extreme horror, and historical fiction. Her work has appeared in multiple anthologies, and she has proposed plausible solutions in several high-profile cases, including the Dyatlov Pass incident, the deaths aboard the Terror and Erebus, and the Lindbergh kidnapping. She selectively consults on active investigations involving missing persons, suspicious deaths, thefts, and homicides. Her books are available on Amazon. Catt advocates for prison reform through F21 (Felon at 21) in Arkansas and directs special-effects moulage for large-scale emergency-response simulations, including city-wide mock plane crashes. She is also a screenwriter, producer, and film director with her company, Ren Says Films, specializing in horror, sci-fi horror, and horror-comedy. A native Texan and lifelong ice hockey fan, Catt lives with five rescue cats—Orlov, Kempny, Wilson, Dima, and Daisy—and a Great Pyrenees service dog named Bumble. She loves scuba diving, wildlife, and quiet summer evenings on the porch spent with raccoons and her husband. She holds advanced graduate training in criminal psychology from Texas A&M, with specialized work in crime-scene analysis and offender profiling. |
